Forces you to be more tactical in your approach as you typically have far less ammo but is incredibly rewarding. Sounds boring, but on difficulties normal and up, you can be walking the knife edge between death and badassery the whole time. Biotic rush, shotgun to the face, possible nova. It makes me want to play every RPG actually. Probably will choose it in this playthrough, and if I play it again in the future, will try adept, because the throw and singularity seem neat and got very excited to play with the discussions about skills and classes. Maybe Infiltrator is good if you get invested and wants to flank for real, but I really play casually and the cloak is the kind of ability I use just to say that Im using, so I'm must not be using correctly, also the combat seems too fast for me and on a small area to be the ''thief/rogue'' type, as they describe. The two times I started the game, I chose Infiltrator (don't know why I did the second time since I didn't like at first), and got bored of the abilities. It's just that I like the narrative of Mass Effect 2, but I get tired of the combat. I don't really care to be good at the game.
